Full-stack Project: COVID-19 Mental Wellness Website - LIFE.COM

About this project

This project  is an assignment for the Web Programming Course at RMIT University, where I achieved a perfect score of 40 out of 40. The LIFE.com website, developed as part of the course, simulates full-stack project development and focuses on providing mental wellness support during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Throughout the project, I gained proficiency in creating websites using HTML/CSS techniques. Additionally, I learned to incorporate third-party libraries like Chart.js and JQuery Validation to meet project requirements effectively. While I primarily designed the website’s style, I utilized the Bootstrap library for the admin and logged portal sections.

Furthermore, the course provided valuable insights into backend coding skills. I learned to design APIs using PHP and connect them with the MySQL database. Key features such as the account system, mental health course, diet recommendations, and exercise records were facilitated through PHP APIs. Additionally, I integrated a membership fees calculator and a diet calculator using JavaScript and JQuery, further enhancing the website’s functionality.
